Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer chicken wings that are easy to make and perfect for a quick snack or appetizer. Coated in olive oil and seasoned with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, these wings cook to golden perfection in just 23 minutes using an air fryer. Serve them garnished with fresh parsley and a side of ranch dressing for dipping.

Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 1 pound chicken wings (split into flats and drummettes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

For Cooking

  • Cooking spray (for air fryer basket)

To Serve

  • Chopped parsley (for serving)
  • Ranch dressing (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Once heated, spray the air fryer basket generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Place them in a large bowl, toss with olive oil, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated. Season well with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching to allow for even air circulation. Cook at 380°F for 10 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 400°F and continue cooking for another 6 to 8 minutes until the wings are crisp and golden brown.
  4. Serve: Remove the wings from the air fryer and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with ranch dressing on the side for dipping, if desired.

Notes

  • Patting the wings dry before seasoning helps achieve extra crispiness.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
  • Adjust seasoning and spices according to your preference.
  • Ranch dressing can be substituted with blue cheese dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
  • Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the air fryer model.
